Independent science-fiction publisher, Starry Eyed Press*, sponsored a 2023 sci-fi drabble contest to which I submitted a solitary entry back in August, titled "Alien Memories."
I was notified on October 17th that my entry was a finalist and that if I signed an agreement, it would be therefore included in an anthology of similarly qualified works (see image above).
Edited with update: Winners were announced on November 4.First Place

“Robotomy” by Nikki Root
Second Place

“Burnt Things” by Dawn Colclasure
Third Place

“Alone” by Louis Hill
Winning drabbles can be read HERE on the Starry Eyed Press website.
The drabble anthology which includes my single entry, "Pocket SciFi", can be purchased on Amazon, HERE:
Starry Eyed Press' 2022 Space Opera anthology, "Cosmic Convocation" included my short story, "New Owners for Old Earth."
